Playschool

Playschool is an early childhood program with educational components for infants, preschoolers, and Kindergarteners.

Here at Playschool

Our children learn to share, communicate, compromise, assert feelings appropriately, and navigate their social environment through play. From our earliest days, play is how we relate to the world, and to each other. When children have plenty of opportunities to learn playfully, they do what they do best: pursue their natural curiosity. And, as they do, they build skills and aptitudes they’ll keep for life.

We strongly believe…

Children learn best through play and that children are innately curious. Intentional supervised play in the classroom is the foundation for strong social and emotional skills necessary in life.

Our classrooms are center-based

Allowing children the freedom to move and explore freely making choices in areas that interest and are relevant to them.  The classroom is designed to offer developmentally appropriate activities for a particular age group while taking in consideration that children develop at different stages.  We follow NAEYC’s Developmentally Appropriate Practice standards.
